Its location was favourable and magnificent, in the arcade, and in an extremely nice area. I was upgraded to an impressive suite on the first level.

This was a wonderful stay for the price. Staff were amazingly nice, room was good sized for the couch beds or extra pillows. We loved wake-up service available. The hotel was set in a secluded area just next door to Close to grocery stores and the Outer Banks and the grounds. Found time to see Carawan Seafood, that's just a short stroll away from the property.

Comfortable Stay Despite Setbacks

The room offered a spacious layout with a lovely balcony. There were some unexpected service challenges, including an early checkout mishap. Be sure to check with the front desk regarding amenities to avoid any surprises during your stay.

The resort was a hit with the kids, especially the waterpark and outdoor activities. Our spacious three-bedroom suite was perfect for our family of four adults and four children, and everything was very clean. We were disappointed to find the indoor pool and hot tub closed during our stay without prior notice. This, as we were hoping for more swimming options, especially with rain predicted.

The staff was friendly, kind of like family, treating us like we were their own. We were really looking forward to the indoor pool and hot tub for our anniversary, but it was closed due to maintenance, a real bummer for me.

Family with children paradise

The place had a ton of activities for the kids. The nature trail was great, provided shade from the sun and let us escape the beach madness for a while. Also, the rocking chairs on the porch were the perfect spot for some quiet moments with coffee, just chilling while the kids splashed around.

It wasn't a bargain but you get what you pay for.

We enjoyed paddle boating, exploring nature trails, and using the awesome outdoor pool. It was like a true family retreat!

The beach access was fantastic, and we enjoyed a trip to Avalon Fishing Pier for some fun in the sun. The air-conditioned apartment was perfect for our group, and we made good use of the well-equipped kitchen. Plus, the outdoor recreation park with tennis and volleyball courts kept us active. A great balance of relaxation and adventure!

I really loved how easy it was to get to the beach just across the street and enjoy the laid-back fun of the water park on site, not to mention being close to awesome places like the Wright Memorial Bridge and Kitty Hawk Woods Coastal Reserve for some nice strolls and nature exploration, while there were plenty of nearby dining choices like Duck Donuts and local seafood spots like Carawan Seafood; the rooms were clean and remodeled but I think they could improve on sound insulation since we heard some noise from the washer and dryer in the hallway.
